A
Successful Golf Outing Often Requires Professional Assistance
Golf
creates a perfect environment and a relaxed social atmosphere
that facilitates partnerships, camaraderie, and team building.
Golf Events have become a great way to encourage people to
give of themselves by raising money for needy charities while
building good will within their community.
Organizing and executing a golf outing is only as easy as
the amount of work that is put into it. The time spent on
the event has a direct result on the level of it’s success.
Putting together a golf outing takes an enormous amount of
time and effort. I have participated in events where the golfers
showed up, played golf, ate a meal afterwards, basic raffles
prizes were given out and everyone went home. This type of
event is what I would describe as low level because of its
simplicity and unmemorable agenda. On the other hand, a high
level event would standout by the number of special touches
that make the guests feel important and appreciated.
Plan
your event and organize a committee that is dedicated to its
success. Your first year’s event will set the tone for
future events and the result will determine increased participation
for future events. The important factor is to realize your
group is competing for charity dollars and your goal is to
either have your participants shift their charitable spending
over to your organization or increase their budgets to include
your charity.
The Lido
Golf Club is a perfect venue for group gatherings, holiday
parties, corporate functions, social events, fund Raisers
or weddings. Whether your event is established or still a
concept, a golf function is a great way to establish or solidify
relationships, thank customers, raise charitable funds or
celebrate a social gathering.
